Monday is the final day to enjoy live music and find a blind date with a romance book at the Hermosa Beach Memorial Day Weekend Fiesta. Music is performed all day on the streets, plaza and in the beer garden.
Blind romance book dates are offered by the Hermosa Friends of the Library, which has teamed up with The Fleuria, a Romance Book truck created by Stephanie Pao, of Redondo Beach. She said Fleuria is a made up name she chose because it sounds like a romance novel. ER

Why are they allowed to dig a big hole and advertise and fence it off for a weekend without a permit from the Coastal Commission or city? Yet the EasyEasy promotes it. Just wrong. Where was our woke Police Chief and his highly paid staff. No where to be seen. Not one ticket issued for riding emails on the Strand over the weekend. He needs to be fired now.
