Armed and dangerous man on the loose in South Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach Police Officers are purusing a suspect in South Redondo near the Esplanade who allegedly burned down his apartment and is now on the run.  Numerous sources in the community report that the man is armed with knives and is on the loose.  A resident reported that they were told by police through loudspeaker announcements that all individuals must stay inside until further notice.  The K-9 team was also reportedly on the job searching for the suspect.
